With a bit of planning, a crock-pot (aka a slow cooker) can provide you with a meal in a hurry. This bean soup cooked all day while I was at work, and I just had to add a couple of things when I got home. I had some lamb broth sitting around (I made it by tossing the bones from a roasted lamb neck plus a couple of garlic cloves, a quartered onion, a couple of celery stalks and carrots with enough water to cover them into a pressure cooker and cooking for about 20 minutes once it started rocking).

Leftover Lamb Curry

Whenever I roast a leg of lamb, there are leftovers.  Neither my husband nor I really enjoy cold roast beef, pork or lamb, so we have to utilize the leftovers somehow. Leftover lamb makes for good curry, which is very nice on a fall evening.

Best Way to Cook Lamb Chops

For me, the following is the best way to cook lamb chops in the oven. (I still remember the first time I cooked lamb chops in the oven- and they caught on fire! It was a shock…I hadn’t realized that the fat was quite so flammable. Hey, I was young and inexperienced).
